Familiar with the statutory planning system in Hong Kong.

Requirements

Master Degree Holder in Town Planning or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification local working experience.
Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent is preferable.
Familiar with the statutory planning system in Hong Kong.
Ability to undertake projects independently and submit quality reports, attend meetings, make presentations and liaise with clients, consultants and Government departments directly.
Self-motivated, creative thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent in both speaking and written English and Chinese languages.
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrators, and other latest graphics design/presentation software; etc.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geomatics (Land Surveying, GIS, Utility Management and Surveying)
Over 2 years working experience in the field of Land Surveying / GIS / Utility Management and Surveying.
Proficient in using Autodesk & Esri software.
Knowledge of programming languages is preferred.

Job Duties

Manage and analyze geospatial data related to the Underground Utility Information System (UUIS) supervision project.
Create and maintain maps using Survey / GIS software.
Provide technical support to the project team and other stakeholders.
Work closely with the Survey Manager to ensure that all survey data is accurately captured and integrated into the GIS system.
Perform quality control checks on Survey / GIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with the development of project plans and schedules.
Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to the GIS / Survey system.
Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Suggest improvement of technical documentation and workflow related to UUIS.

(Candidates with less experience will be considered for a position of GIS Technician)
